About Queen Mother's Universal Foundation
Empowering communities through universal love, support, and sustainable development since 2022.
Our JourneyOur History
QMUF is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalised communities, particularly vulnerable groups. We provide free healthcare services to promote wellness and dignity, facilitate financial empowerment to reduce gender-based violence and economic poverty.
Our comprehensive approach to ending illiteracy ensures young people especially girls have access to educational facilities through scholarship, skills acquisition and mentorship. By addressing the interconnected challenges of poverty, health and education, we strive to improve the quality of life, dignity and equal opportunity especially for persons with disabilities, and promote sustainable and resilient communities.
Our Mission and Vision
To empower marginalised communities across Nigeria through collaborative partnerships, targeted advocacy, innovative solutions, and community-driven initiatives. Our focus is on providing education for children from low-income families, accessible healthcare services, skills training, and economic opportunities. We are committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations, including rural women, girls, and persons with disabilities, while ensuring marginalised communities have access to clean and safe water, and the dignity they deserve.
We envision a Nigeria where marginalised communities, vulnerable populations including women and girls have equal access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities to live a dignified and self-sufficient life. A world where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Through our work, we aim to create empowered communities that are educated, healthy, and sustainably developed, fostering a society built on the principles of universal love and mutual support.

Key Milestones
QMUF has been at the forefront of ensuring communities have access to basic amenities that improve the quality of lives while committing passionately to the realisation of some SDGs in Nigeria.
With a team of dedicated board of trustees, staff members and volunteers, QMUF was able to implement some life touching projects in 2022-2024 across various communities.
These projects were carried out after a comprehensive need assessment was conducted, community engagement with the community leaders held and Memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by QMUF, and projects successfully built to standard and handed over to the community. These laudable initiatives have formed our milestones achieved since our establishment.
